Course Overview

  • learn basics of Ayurvedic cooking – utensils used, cooking methods, pre-prep of the menu,
  • Learn Basics of Nutrition and Ayurveda and health as per Ayurveda
  • Learn making of basic spices and chutneys, sauces, mixes etc.
  • Learn to make 2-3 dishes daily – Main dishes, salads, Drinks, Juices, smoothies, Desserts & Snacks
  • Ayurvedic Lifestyle and cooking tips
  • Daily cooking together from our own kitchen – nutritious, healthy and tasty food.

10 Hours program

"You are what you DIGEST". As you may have realised, we do not easily digest everything we eat and hence the reason for our digestive issues, gastric problems, constipation, obesity and sluggishness. As per Ayurveda, every person is unique and hence their food requirement is also unique.

Find out which food items agree with you and which combinations nourish the body and which combinations can be detrimental to your health. Learn the healthy ways to cook food, preserving nutrients, while creating a delicious taste.

Course Contents

Module 1

Basics of Ayurveda- 5 Elements, Tridosha, 3 Gunas, Laws of Karma, Sankhya; our energy system.

Module 2:

Basics of Ayurveda – Basics of Diet and Nutrition in current age and Ayurvedic Principles for Food & Nutrition

Module 3:

Cooking in Ayurveda – Utensils, Cooking and eating Methods, spices & ingredients; food combination in Ayurveda

Module 4:

Ayurvedic Cooking – Sauces, Chutneys, Pickles, Juice, Smoothies, Drinks, Side dishes, Salads, Main dishes, desserts & sweets. These will be from Indian, Arabic / Mediterranean / Thai / Italian or around the world

Module 5:

'Dinacharya' or Daily routine as per Ayurveda and how to incorporate same in our lives for health and wellness.

Around 40-50 recipes shared during the course for you to make and take the practice forward.

Every day we will have about 60 Mins of Theory on above and 60 mins Cooking together.

List of ingredients for the cooking session will be given the previous day with recipes of dishes we will be cooking together and preparation that needs to be done for the session.
